Villy Karakolidi and her husband Kostas two of our oldest members of the Society are leaving Malaysia on 15 of April.

We are organizing a small gathering at Nong and Jimmy’s to drink together and wish them the best of luck in their new destination :

1.     Invitation for future activities of the HSM (short-term & long-term).

2.     Εstablishing α small fund for financial support to Greek students in Malaysia, that possibly have finacial difficulties.

3.     Meeting and collaboration with the organizers of the European Union Film Festival, in order to include Greek films in the festival of next year (it's too late for this year).

4.     Ouzo night at the Thai “psarotaverna” (fish-restaurant)

5.     Christmas event of the HSM

6.     Open discussion about the functions / procedures of the HSM

7.     Other issues from the members. All members that desire to participate in our monthly meeting on Tuesday, are kindly requested to provide ideas.

Evaggelos KoutronasFor the Presidency Adamadia Mavridou and Miltos Denediotis were self-proposed.After an open internal voting and phone conversation with the two absent members, Victoria Simopoulou and Andreas Vogiatzakis, Miltos Denediotis was appointed President with 4 votes, against 2 votes for Adamadia Mavridou.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Dear Greek friends!
Let me introduce myself as the PR Co-Ordinator for ABWM (Ass. of British Women in Malaysia).
The reason for my note is to ask if the Hellenic Socity will consider printing our ad. for our Christmas Bazaar in your September and October magazines or publications.  The Bazaar is being held on 11th November, and full details are on the attached ad.
We are more than happy to reciprocate and print any publicity materials you have in our magazine in return.
